Minnesota Community Foundation completed its Statewide Initiative investing in visionary and innovative ideas. In the first two years of the Initiative, the Foundation used an RFP process and awarded approximately $200,000 to 20 projects across the state in areas of education, environment, health, economic status, and public safety.
In the final year of the Initiative, the Foundation focused on sharing and distributing ideas learned in the first two years, and explored the best use of dollars to capitalize on learnings and relationships established in the first two years.
We hope to continue to learn more about challenging issues and creative strategies across the state and use these learnings to help shape our future grant making.
