Maybe you care about environmental issues. Perhaps your devotion is with the local arts community. Whether you want to support a specific purpose or geographic area, we can help you establish a legacy fund that addresses your special concerns.
To fulfill your charitable wishes, our board of community members determines the best ways to use the dollars to benefit the community—now and in the future.

Herbert C. Anderson Charitable Fund. The son of a schoolteacher, Herbert worked as a biology and math teacher before moving to Albert Lea. He then changed careers to banking and finance. He established his Fund in 2000 and added to it over time. Upon his death, he left part of his estate to the Fund and set it up with flexibility to meet changing needs. Today, his Fund supports education, arts, medical research and environmental issues.

Pieschel Family Foundation Fund. The Pieschel family’s legacy is evident everywhere in Springfield, from programs for special needs children to new playground equipment to enhanced facilities at the retirement home. They have given new meaning and definition to what it means to give back to the community. Their commitment and legacy helps ensure that Springfield’s needs are met now and into the future.
